This is the best beauty tip to battle winter dryness

Rose water has been a beauty favorite since the days of our grandmothers. It has the power to fight acne and reduce blemishes as well as help with skin irritation and inflammation. Rose water is also a natural toner that helps balance the pH of your skin and if using the organic or home made variety, it can be used by people with skin conditions such as dermatitis and eczema.

Glycerin on the other hand is a popular ingredient in many beauty products. It works as a great moisturizer and despite being of an oily consistence, it immediately absorbs into your skin making it supple and soft.

Here we have a proposition that promises smooth, soft skin in the dry winter months at a cost that is less than a fraction of what you would spend on expensive products. But the best part is that it can be used on on all skin types.

All you need is:

  1. 1.5 cups of Rose Water
  2. 0.25 cups of Glycerin

Mix the two together and keep in a spray bottle. Spray on your hand to see if you have any reaction to it. If not, this is your new best friend this December. Shake and use, after cleansing, before makeup or even just to freshen up a face with makeup! It can even be used at the end of your  makeup to give you the much sought after dewy, glowing complexion.

Until next time!
